Professional Virtual Assistant (VA)
RATES OF PAY
Typical Philippines VA Hourly rates are about £3.00-£6 per hour depending on their expertise & experience.
- You would also be expected to pay a Christmas bonus equivalent to 1 month’s pay. This is standard in the Philippines.
- To attract the very best VAs, we also suggest you provide some additional benefits such as Paid Bank Holidays, Paid Holidays, Sensible working hours, 6 monthly performance and inflation-based pay increases.

THE HIRING PROCESS
Using The SFO Hiring System we recruit VAs with:
- Excellent English Language Skills
- Ability to accurately follow instructions

- Performance Computer Hardware
- In addition, all VAs are interviewed before being approved.
THE TRAINING PROCESS
Each VA also goes through the SFO VA Training Academy to learn:
- To use the SFO Platform
- How to be an effective VA
- To produce Operations Manuals to a high standard (unless hired for customer service role)
THE ONBOARDING PROCESS
- Example Terms of Engagement Provided
- Template Position Agreement Provided
- VA set up with a new Asana Task Board in your workspace.
GUARANTEE
All our VAs are guaranteed to be suitable for the role we hire them for.
Should you find your new VA unable to perform the role we hire them for, we will replace them free of charge anytime during their probationary period, as specified in your Terms of Engagement with the VA.
This replacement is subject to you meeting some basic management standards.
THEIR AVAILABILITY:
You will have exclusive access to your VA. We will not place them with any other client.*
*We must advise you that if you do not provide 35+ hours of work per week, then your VA may need to look for additional work elsewhere.
