Send Post Interview Rejection Email

After your manager has decided who they'd like to hire, you will be reaching out to the unsuccessful applicants to let them know you've decided to offer the role to somebody else.

Job applicants will always appreciative of receiving feedback, regardless of how they fared in the hiring process.

In this lesson, we'll show you how to reach out to the applicants who were unable to pass the Interview Task.

The first part of completing this task includes creating an email list of those candidates who were unable to pass the Interview task. If you haven't done so, please refer to lesson '3.3 Create an Email List From a Spreadsheet'. The link to this lesson can be found in the Resources section.

You'll be sending everyone included in this list a Post-Interview Rejection Email to let them know they were unable to pass the Interview process and to wish them luck with their future endeavours.

(FIRST TIME USERS) Please make a copy of the Post-Interview Rejection Email TEMPLATE in the Resources section of this lesson and move it to the 04. Interview TEMPLATES subfolder in your own Recruitment folder.
