The Recruit Right Templates

With Recruit Right, you'll be working with a lot of templates, which will be shared with you.

A lot of these are used for grading the applicants, sending them messages about their application, and creating important documents such as the Job Posting, the General Terms of Engagement, and the Position Agreement.

The Job Application Form you'll be using is also a template which you'll need to set up before putting out the job advertisement.

Users doing Recruit Right for the first time need to save these templates to your own Recruitment folder. Any templates we share can be found in the Resources section of the lesson.

As you are going through the course site, you will come across disclaimers where in you'll be prompted to save a template. It will look like this:

(FIRST TIME USERS) Please make a copy of the [TEMPLATE NAME] in the Resources section of this lesson and move it to the [SUBFOLDER NAME] subfolder in your own Recruitment folder.

Depending on the platform you're using, this means that you should download/make a copy of the mentioned template and move/upload it to the specified Recruitment subfolder.

These files we're sharing are templates, meaning you should not write over or use these for the actual tasks you will be performing. Instead, each time you have a task (such as creating the job posting), you need to make a copy of the template and save it to the Job Posting folder for the hiring activity you are working on.

When you do this, it means that you won't accidentally write or erase anything on your templates, and these can still be used the next time you want to hire somebody.
